Like Mother, Like Daughter

Saturday I was feeling very photo happy and Gwynie was happy to comply with my weird mood. She suggested we make funny faces...and so we did!

The shocked Mom face and stubborn Gwynie face!

Gwynie's "Vampire" face and my "Duh" face Our rock star faces...yep we are rocking our faces off!
The typical stick your tongue out and bug your eyes picture...if that's typical
[Insert witty caption here.]

And then we did some normal ones, but they were blurry. I took everything one handed and these were the only ones that turned out blurry!

And our cute little Brady with lots of cotton candy around his lips!

And Jake came to the rescue to get one of all three of us

Ahh... I love my kids! We have fun just hanging around the house. Sunday Brady set up his train track and made a town so I got a couple pics of that, but somehow I ended up with another blurry one. I'll blame it on low batteries, how about that?

Family Fun

Gwynie performed at West Fest today! She had a lot of fun and did awesome as usual! Here are some pics of the performance!

Who knew she could levitate?

And here's Brady ! He got a hair cut this morning and Jake bought him some blue gel. He loves it! He had this blue balloon and it popped, he was so crushed that another little kid came over and gave him a new blue balloon!

Oh the sun was really bright!

A blue balloon, blue hair gel and a blue tee shirt...bet you can't guess his favorite color?!

We didn't go on any rides, but we grabbed the kids some cotton candy. They were munching on it on the way home and of course had to pull faces.

We drove past this sign when we were going to get gas. Jake always jokes that "Scrapbooking" is really "Crapbooking" so of course I had to take a picture of this! Who knew he was right?!

Gwynie's Cheer Recital

Gwynie had her cheer recital on 6/17/2008 at Hunter High School. There was a packed house for everyone to see. She did such a good job, she made me, Kandi and Brady very proud. She has worked really hard to get ready for this. She is my little cheerleader!!!!

Brady's First Tee Ball Hit

This was Brady's first tee ball hit. He has been so excited to play tee ball. The first time he swung the bat he hit the tee. The second time he swung he got all ball, he hit the ball to the edge of the out field. As he rounded the bases he slid into every single base.

Gwynie's Birthday

Gwynie turned 9 on Saturday! We can't believe she is getting so old because it makes us feel really old! She got into a little bit of trouble a month ago so had a smaller party this year. She had about 4 of her girl friends over for a pool party and then a couple of our friends and their kids. We set up a small pool and a slip n slide, and they had tons of fun!

Gwynie enjoying the sun!

Pink water balloons mean business!

She had to pretend to blow out her candle because it was a little windy!

Brady is such a water kid! He would live in the pool if we let him!

Our Family Blog!

Well I (Kandi) have had my own personal blog, and a craft blog, but we wanted to have a family blog to share with family and friends. So....here we go! Our kids are the best and we love every minute we spend together. This summer is already starting to get busy and we know it will just keep getting busier! Here are some fun pics from the kids' most recent activities!

Brady loves to play Tee Ball, and sweep the dirt under the bases! Jake is helping to coach and they both have a blast each week! The boys helped pick the team name too....the Red Sox, what else?!

When the boys aren't playing baseball, they are golfing! Jake recently played in a Golf Tournament for work and took Brady with him. The boys had a great morning, and of course wore their matching Boston Red Sox caps!

Gwynie just finished up her Cheerleading and did awesome at their year end recital! They have one more performance, and then she starts Tumbling for the summer.

Gwynie and her teacher Aubree.

Gwynie just turned 9 yesterday, too! I will post those pictures later, but it was a fun pool party! We can't believe she is already such a big girl...er, little lady! It's hard to believe she is 9 and still wears a girls size 6! She is so itty bitty, Brady only weighs about 5 pounds less than her!

Well, we hope you enjoyed our first post! Hopefully we will stay caught up in sharing our wonderful kids and their crazy adventures!
